3&5- Year Jail Term to 4 Suspects Accused of Burning Tires, Putting Hoax Bomb in Salmabad

Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Court of Appeals presided over by judge Ibrahim Al-Zayed and memberships of judges Dia'a Al-Huraidi and Salah Rizk and Yousif Bu Hardan as secretariat upheld a verdict issued the first instance court sentencing 2 suspects to 3 years in prison and 2 others to 5 years over burning tires and putting hoax bomb in Salmabad.
The authorities claim that the 4 suspects agreed to stage a protest in Salmabad, gathered in Salmabad cemetery, brought a number of tires and petroleum gallon as well as hoax bomb and blocked the internal streets of Salmabad using woods and trash containers. The suspects then headed to the public street, put the tires and burnt them using petroleum and Molotov. The second suspect put the hoax bomb on the street and they all fled away.
