Court Issues 5-Year Jail Term against 4 Defendants over Planting Hoax Bomb and Burning Tires in A’ali

Bahrain Mirror: The Fourth High Criminal Court presided over by judge Ali Al-Dhahrani and membership of judges Ousama Al-Shathili and Wael Ibrahim and Ahmad Al-Suleiman as a secretariat sentenced 4 defendants to 5 years in prison over panting hoax bomb and burning tires in A'ali and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
The Public Prosecution had referred the defendants to trial after accusing them of deliberately setting fire, on March 24, 2016, to the assets mentioned in the papers, endangering people's lives and money for a terrorist aim and planting hoax bomb for a terrorist aim.
The authorities claim that they reached the first suspect through "intensive investigations", alleging that he told them about the other suspects while being questioned.
