Bahrain Mirror: Prison's administration continued to cancel the scheduled visits to Dry Dock Prison (pre-detention center) for the second consecutive day.
Families confirmed to Bahrain Mirror that the prison's administration allowed on Sunday (January 15, 2017) the morning visitation and since 8 AM they told the families of the detainees who came to visit their sons that the visitations are cancelled.
Some families who were supposed to meet their sons in the Dry Dock Prison came to the prison today (Monday, January 16, 2017), however, the prison's police told them that the visitations are cancelled and have to leave immediately.
The country witnessed yesterday protests and violent clashes after the authorities executed 3 dissident youths accused of blasting a bomb that killed an Emirati policeman and two others.
The Ministry of Interior took a number of measures. However, the prison's department affiliated to the ministry of interior decided to cancel the visits, fearing that uncontrollable unrests would reach the prison.
