SIU Interrogated 27 Policemen Accused of Torture in November

Bahrain Mirror: The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) affiliated to the Public Prosecution said that the unit investigated 23 complaints of allegations of torture and mistreatment in November.
Deputy Chairman of Bahrain's SIU, Mohammed Khalid Al-Hazza, added that the unit listened to the statements of 19 victims and witnesses and interrogated 27 suspects of the public security forces. The unit also referred 6 victims to the forensic physician to have them examined and report any injury, its date and cause, if found.
