Bahrain's Interior Minister Receives Turkish Intelligence Chief to Discuss “Security Cooperation”

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received last Friday (December 9, 2016), Hakan Fidan, head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization, in presence of high-ranked officials from Bahrain and Turkey.
The official Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported that the meeting reviewed "bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed areas of cooperation and security coordination, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest."
The Head of Turkish National Intelligence Organization visited Bahrain to participate in the twelfth session of the "Manama Dialogue" Forum.
It is worth mentioning that Bahrain has held a number of deals with Turkey to buy weapons and equipment, which are used in the repression of demonstrators. Former detainees say that some of the devices that are used in torture were also brought in from Turkey.
