An Accused in Sheikh Hassan Isa’s Case Says his Confessions were Extracted under Torture

Bahrain Mirror: A suspect accused in political cases denied before the fourth high criminal court that Sheikh Hassan Isa had funded him to make terrorist acts, detonate or kill policemen.
The suspect further stated that he was forced to confess against Sheikh Hassan Isa, as they made him sign on papers without knowing their contents.
The court adjourned the case of 24 suspects in the case of killing 2 policemen, attempting to murder 6 others and funding "the terrorist group" by Al-Wefaq leader Sheikh Hassan Isa until December 22, 2016, to listen to the defence witnesses.
Sheikh Hassan Isa and a number of the suspects attended yesterday's session being accompanied with lawyers including Mohsen Al-Alawi. The attending suspect (accused in number of political background cases) was questioned during the session.
The authorities accuse Sheikh Hassan Isa of funding terrorism over delivering financial aids to the detainees'' families.
