Bahrain Mirror: The Fourth High Criminal Court adjourned the trial of Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim until November 23, 2016 to listen to the second prosecution's witness.
During the session held today (October 24, 2016), the court listened to the first attesting witness and none of the suspects appeared. Meanwhile, the attorney Abdulrahman Al-Khashram, assigned by the Ministry of Justice as the defense attorney of Sheikh Hussein Al-Mahrous attended the session.
The authorities are suing Sheikh Isa Qassim, Sheikh Hussein Al-Mahrous and Mirza Al-Obeidi over practicing Shiite religious obligatory Khums (alms) ritual and accuse them of illegally collecting funds and money laundering.
