Bahrain Mirror: King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued a decree restructuring the Ministry of Labour and Social Development.

Decree 73/2016 stipulated restructuring the Ministry of Labour and Social Development under the Minister of Labour and Social Development who will be in charge of the Communication Directorate and the Data Systems Directorate. The Ministry's Undersecretary will be in charge of the Human Resources Directorate, Financial Resources Directorate and Vocational Institutions Affairs Directorate. The Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs will be in charge of Employment Directorate, Labour Relations Directorate, Inspection and Vocational Safety Directorate, Indemnification and Unemployed Support Directorate and Manpower Training and Development Directorate. The Assistant Undersecretary for Welfare and Rehabilitation will be in charge of Social Rehabilitation Directorate, Social Welfare Directorate and Social Assistance Directorate. The Assistant Undersecretary for Community Development will be in charge of Social Development Centres Directorate, Family and Child Development Directorate and NGOs Support Directorate.

The Decree rescinded  Decree 28/2005 of reorganizing the Ministry of Labour and Decree 60/2011 of renaming and restructuring the Ministry of Social Development as well as any provision contradicting the provisions of this Decree.
