Trial of Sheikh Ali Naji Adjourned until September 20, while Remaining in Custody

Bahrain Mirror: The minor criminal court adjourned on Thursday (September 8, 2016) the trial of detained Shiite Sheikh Ali Naji (Al-Himli) until September 20 with his continued detention.
The authorities charged Al-Himli with illegal assembly over the sit-in held in front of the spiritual leader Sheikh Isa Qassim' house since June 20, protesting over the decision to revoke his citizenship.
It is to mention that the authorities summoned Al-Himli on August 7 and decided to detain him to present him to the Public Prosecution. On August 9, the prosecution decided to arrest Al-Himli for 15 days pending investigation.
