Former MP Khalid Abdula'al Sentenced to One Year in Prison for "Insulting Interior Ministry"

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Third Minor Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Jaber Al-Jazzar and Hussain Youssef as secretariat, sentenced the former Member of Parliament Khalid Abdula'al to one year in prison, on 1000 BD bail, over posting tweets on his personal Twitter account deemed insulting to the Ministry of Interior.
The Public Prosecution accused Abdula'al of publishing tweets that insult the Ministry of Interior and threaten public security.
It is noteworthy that this is the second one-year jail term issued against Abdula'al, which means the total number of sentences issued against him reached 2 years.
