Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the United Nations' decision to remove the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen from blacklist of child rights violators in the UN Secretary-General's annual report annex.

The Ministry stressed that correcting this administrative error reflects the UN's keenness to maintain its credibility and the success of its mission in maintaining international peace and security. It considered this correction an important step in the right direction towards resolving the Yemeni crisis and supporting the great efforts exerted by the Arab on both the military and humanitarian levels. The ministry further stated that it pushes forward the ongoing peace consultation in Kuwait to reach a political settlement based on the terms of reference of the Gulf initiative, its mechanism of implementation, the outcome of the national dialogue and resolution 2216 of the UN Security Council.
