Bahraini FM: Washington's Statements on Sheikh Ali Salman's Sentence Lack Diplomatic Language

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Ahmad Al Khalifa said that the US State Department's statement, regarding the trial of Al-Wefaq Secretary-General Sheikh Ali Salman lacks diplomatic language.
"The language of the US State Department spokesman regarding the sentence of Sheikh Ali Salman is more like a NGO statement than an official diplomatic one," tweeted the minister.
The US State Department's spokesman had urged Bahrain to abide by its international obligations to respect and protect freedom of expression, drop the charges against Sheikh Ali Salman and release him.
