Bahraini Court Orders Release of Al-Wefaq Shura Member Mahdi Al-Ekri

Bahrain Mirror: A number of activists posted on social media websites that a Bahraini court decided on Sunday (June 14, 2015) to release one of Al-Wefaq's Shura members, Mahdi Al-Ekri, along with Fakhri Rashid and Sayed Mohammed Al-Alawi.
Mahdi Al-Ekri, Fakhri Rashid and Sayed Mohammed Al-Alawi were arrested in the Bahraini capital, Manama, on the onset of January 2015, while participating in protests demanding the release of Sheikh Ali Salman. They were sentenced to six months in prison on February 19, 2015.
