Bahrain Mirror: The family of the arrested Khalil Al-Halwachi said that he had recently suffered from a blood clot in his arm and was transferred to the military hospital for treatment without informing them. Al-Hawachi's family expressed their concern over him suffering again from another clot in the light of what they called "the maltreatment in the Dry Dock Prison and the possibility of a clot transfer to another body part, as doctors say".
Fatima, Al-Halwachi's daughter, stated that they visited him on Sunday (10 May 2015) in the Dry Dock Prison "for barely 25 minutes. My father was lately brought from his cell, wearing a mask for he started getting allergic from the odors after his last hunger strike".
As for the poor living conditions of the detainees in the Dry Dock Prison, Fatima highlighted that, "There are various kinds of insects in the cells like cockroaches. One of the arrested was placed in solitary confinement and tortured by the security men, according to my father."
