Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): A Bahraini court sentenced the activist Ghada Jamsheer (on June 9, 2015) to a year and eight months in prison and 400 BD bail to stay the execution, over criticizing a member of the ruling family. The activist was charged with “defaming a number of official employees on her twitter account.”

Bahrain Mirror: News reports are stating that the women’s sections in public mosques and religious centers in Bahrain are being closed, following the Imam Hussein Mosque bomb attack in the Saudi Arabia’s Dammam. Mo’men Mosque in the Bahraini capital, Manama, was the first to close the prayer section dedicated to women.

Bahrain Mirror: Unemployed chemistry and technology teaching graduates with honors staged a protest outside the general directorate of reviews building affiliated to the ministry of education, after five years of their graduation, as they have received a text message from the ministry stating that they failed the recruitment exam.
