The Court of Cassation rejected the verdict issued against Salman Isa, who is accused by the authorities of caused an explosion in Easter Akar, which led to the death of Pakistani police officer, Mahmoud Fareed.

The Bahraini Supreme Court of Appeals upheld the verdict issued against 15 appellants, sentencing them to 15 years in prison over killing a policeman in Al-Ekr area.
