Bahrain Mirror: The family of the opposition leader and head of the Haq Movement, Hassan Mushaima, imprisoned in the Jaw Central Prison, staged a sit-in in front of the "Kanoo Medical Center" on Thursday, April 25, 2024, protesting his denial of treatment and demanding his release.
Ali Mushaima, Hassan Mushaima's son, asserted in posts on the formerly Twitter "X" platform that "the concerned authorities have ignored the family's communications for over a month, demanding medical care for their father despite his urgent need and unstable health condition."
Ali Mushaima stated that "instead of this security show, the priority should have been to promptly treat and release his father," adding, "our natural reaction as a family is not to remain silent in the face of neglect of our father's right to treatment and his right to freedom."
