Bahrain Mirror: Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim expressed that "it is the remnant of the innate conscience of man that moves some people in our world today in many diverse ways, in sit-ins and marches, condemning the atrocities of the Zionist entity."
Ayatollah Qassim said in a statement on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, that "these ugly, brutal and monstrous atrocities have left no blood, honor, dignity or environment unscathed... They do not differentiate between the sick and the healthy, men and women, old and young, combatant and civilian in their unjust targeting and imprisonment of people."
He went on to say that "the innate conscience does not remain present and emergent and does not grow and flourish except with the life of faith and religion, its upbringing, prevalence, governance and sovereignty," adding that "if religion exists, then conscience is present, and if religion is absent, then conscience disappears to the extent of becoming non-existent."
Ayatollah Qassim pointed out that "the tyrant rule anywhere reflected the absence of religion and the burial of conscience, so that all the arrogant purposes of the tyrant are achieved."
