Diraz: Mass Protest after Friday Prayer Condemning Sheikh Sanqour's Arrest, Normalization with Zionists

Bahrain Mirror: Diraz witnessed a mass protest after Friday Prayer (May 26, 2023) condemning the regime's arrest of Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour.
Protestors held photos of Sheikh Sanqour and chanted slogans condemning his arrest and normalization with Zionists.
The Bahraini authorities released preacher and Imam of Friday prayer at the Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Diraz, Sheikh Mohammad Sanqour, on May 19, 2023, three days after his arrest over pretext of "inciting sermons".
Sheikh Sanqour had said, in his Friday sermon, that "if the change in the educational curricula of everything that harms the Zionists and the Zionist entity were to proceed at the pace at which it began, it would have been a serious threat to the identity of this country, its religion, values and pillars."
He also called on the authorities to reassure prisoners' families about their sons' conditions.
It is to mention that the arrest of Sheikh Sanqour came one day after a phone call made by the Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Eli Cohen with his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif Al-Zayani.
