Israel to Appoint Permanent Military Officer in Bahrain: Hebrew News Outlets

Bahrain Mirror: Hebrew news outlets said on Thursday (February 10, 2022) that the Israeli entity will appoint a military officer to work permanently in Bahrain.
The Unews Press Agency quoted Israeli media as saying that the officer will serve as a liaison to the US Navy's 5th Fleet, which is garrisoned there, and will coordinate with the Bahraini forces.
A few days ago, the Israeli Defence Minister visited Bahrain and met with the King, Crown Prince, Minister of Defense and commander-in-chief, and signed a security agreement, the first of its kind with a Gulf state. The Israeli Defence Minister also visited the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet.
