Bahrain Mirror: Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim thanked Haq Movement leader, Mr. Hassan Mushaima, for his honorable stance. Mushaima rejected his conditional release, describing it as humiliating.
Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim said via his Twitter account: "Thanks to Mr. Hassan Mushaima for his honorable stance and for putting the case of his people prior to his case and his urgent need to get out of prison. Prisons, exiles and the whole Bahraini arena are full of such resilience."
Mr. Mushaima rejected the conditional release, describing it as "humiliating".
In a message posted on social media under the title "My Lord! I would rather be in jail than do what they invite me to," Mushaima stressed his refusal to "waive any of his basic rights or accept conditions for his release."
The leader said in his statement that "prison is a great ordeal, but the believer finds calamities easy when growing closer to Allah," adding that "prison is full of patient believers who put their trust in God."
Mushaima stressed that "if I were to choose between a humiliating and conditional freedom or staying in prison, I would definitely prefer prison."
