Number of Released Political Prisoners Increased to 51, Says Inas Aoun

Bahrain Mirror: Head of the Monitoring and Documentation Unit at Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Inas Aoun, announced that the number of released political prisoners has risen up to 51 within two days.
Aoun further noted that "the number is expected to increase," adding that she "hopes that this will include the release of all prisoners, especially in the circumstances of the Coronavirus pandemic."
On April 8, Assistant Attorney General, Wael Boualai, announced a new list of 73 prisoners, who will be released under the Alternative Penal Code.
