Bahrain Mirror: The Kingdom of Bahrain denounced the hostile statements of the Turkish Defence Minister, Hulusi Akar, against the United Arab Emirates, considering them an unacceptable provocation that contradicts diplomatic norms.
The Ministry said, in a statement published by BNA, on Sunday (August 2, 2020), that these statements are considered "a reprehensible threat to a brotherly Arab country that is known for its constructive role in the international community."
The Turkish Defence Minister had attacked the UAE in an interview with the Qatari "Al-Jazeera" Channel and accused it of "supporting terrorist groups hostile to Turkey" in Libya and Syria and said that his country "would hold it accountable at the right place and time".
