The family said that Jaw Prison officials do not take his condition into. Besides, his request to go to the hospital isn't being met, although his family addressed some of the relevant official authorities, such as the Prisoners' Rights Commission.
The prisoner's family noted that Marhoon was an athlete with an excellent physical and mental health before his arrest and that he did not suffer from any conditions.
Sadiq Marhoon is sentenced to life imprisonment in a case with a political background. He was subjected to torture and ill-treatment during his arrest.
