Bahrain Mirror: Salam for Democracy and Human Rights said that executioners in Bahraini security apparatuses, mainly the National Security Agency, enjoy immunity.

The organization stressed on the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists that all murder and torture crimes against journalists have passed without punishment, noting that executioners in Bahrain torture journalists and activists knowing that they are unlikely to be held accountable for their actions. On this day that falls on November 2, the organization addressed several cases where journalists were killed, tortured, ill-treated or had their citizenships revoked.

These victims were not treated fairly by the complicit authorities. The organization published a video of Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa showing his visit to the house of executioner and officer Mubarak bin Huwail, who is accused of torturing doctors and human rights activist and Salam member, Mohamed Sultan, telling him that "these laws cannot be applied to you."
