Bahrain Mirror: The First-Instance court is considering the case of a suspect accused of burning a policeman's car in Karzakan. The suspect is sentenced, along with another, to 10 years in jail. However, he wasn't informed about the referral of his case. Meanwhile, the sentence of the second suspect was earlier commuted to 5 years in prison by the appeals court as it ordered to overturn the case to the first-instance court in another district as the previous verdict against the suspect is considered void.

The First High Criminal Court decided to adjourn the case until October 6 to listen to the attesting witness, with the continued detention of the suspect until the second session.

The appeals court issued its verdict in the appeals of the suspect, which was accepted in from and substance, abolished the appealed sentence and referred back the case to the first-instance case to consider it in a different way.

The authorities claim that the two suspects set fire to a policeman's car in Karzakan on August 13, 2018.
