Trial of Woman who Posted Obscene Videos on Social Media Outlets Starts after the Eid

Bahrain Mirror: Capital Governorate Prosecution Deputy Attorney Ahmed Al-Ansari said that the Public Prosecution received a notice from the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science stating that a woman posted obscene videos on social media outlets.
The prosecution immediately launched an investigation into the matter and apprehended the woman who confessed to the crime during the interrogation. She justified her actions by saying she was seeking fame. The prosecution ordered her arrest pending investigation and her referral to the concerned criminal court, which announced that her trial will be held on August 14, 2019.
