Bahrain Mirror: The Saudi-led military coalition spokesman said late on Monday that the coalition had intercepted and destroyed a drone launched by Yemen's Houthi group at civil targets in the kingdom, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
"The drone has not achieved its targets," a coalition statement said.
The coalition also announced that it thwarted an attempt by the Houthis targeting a commercial ship, in the southern waters of the Red Sea, using an unmanned booby-boat.
The coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki said in a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency that "the Naval Forces of the Coalition managed to thwart a terrorist attempt by the Houthi militia targeting a commercial ship, in the southern waters of the Red Sea, using an unmanned booby-trapped Blue Fish boat."
He said that the coalition forces spotted the unmanned boat while it was moving, then intercepted and destroyed it.
However, Houthis denied Al-Maliki statement and said it is baseless.
