Interior Ministry Refers Shiite Cleric to Prosecution over Charge of Defaming "the Caliphs"

Bahrain Mirror: The Ministry of Interior said that it investigated a Shiite cleric and referred him to the Public Prosecution over charge of defaming the Caliphs.
Head of Hoora Police Station of the Capital Governorate Police Directorate announced that Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Madhi had been summoned and arrested for delivering a sermon that included defaming contents of the Caliphs of the early years of Islam known as "the Rashidun", referring them as infidels and thieves.
He highlighted that legal proceedings were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
