2018-12-27 - 8:07 p
Bahrain Mirror: The volume of investment in industrial activity in Bahrain declined in 2018, compared to last year. The number of industrial licenses decreased to more than 20% as well.
Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Zayed Al-Zayani said that investment in industrial licenses amounted to 56.336 million dinars in 2018 compared to 92.860 million in 2017.
While confirming that the number of industrial licenses declined from 90 in 2017 to 59 in the current year, Al-Zayani attributed this to "scarcity of industrial land and change in the classification of some commercial records."
