Bahrain Mirror: Prosecutor Nasser Al-Sheeb said that the Public Prosecution received a notice from Muharraq District Security Directorate following the two footages that went viral on social media outlets showing one student attacking his friends.

As soon the Public Prosecution received the notice, it launched an investigation into the incident. The prosecution found that the suspect who attacked his friends was inside one of the schools and that other students took part with him in assaulting the victims, recording the incident and circulating it. The suspects were questioned and accused of attacking the bodily integrity of others as well as misusing social media outlets. They admitted the charges brought against them. The prosecution ordered their arrest for 7 days pending investigation as an introduction to refer them to the competent trial.
