Court Upholds 3-Year Jail Term against 2 Suspects Accused of Planting Hoax Bomb in Al-Budai Street

Bahrain Mirror: The High Appeals Court upheld a 3-year jail term against suspect (22 years) accused of planting a fake bomb in Al-Budai, upheld a 3-year jail term against his companion (20 years) and ordered the confiscation of seized items.
The authorities say that they found a strange body in Al-Budai street and it was discovered that it is a hoax bomb. Investigations led to the first suspect who confessed against the second and third suspects.
The Public Prosecution accused the 3 suspects of putting on April 24, 2015, a hoax bomb on public street. The first instance court issued its verdict last February, however, the suspects appealed it in the appeals court which accepted it in from but rejected it in content and upheld the appealed verdict.
