Bahrain Mirror: Bahraini London-based activist Sayed Ahmed Al-Wadaei said that prison official in Isa Town Women's prison, officer Maryam Al-Bardouli, tore the Eid clothes sent to his mother-in-law Hajar Mansour.
Al-Wadaei described this act as the last "reprisals" against her, indicating that the prison's administration reserved the results of medical examinations she underwent after blood clot symptoms appeared in her leg, considering this a worrying indicator.
Hajar Mansour, 49 years, was arrested in March 2017 as an act of reprisal against the human rights activism carried out by her son-in-law Sayed Ahmed Al-Wedaei in London. Bahraini courts issued a 3-year jail term against her and her son Nizar over fabricated charges, in which the authorities claimed that she put "hoax explosive in A'ali".
