Bahrain Mirror: Activists gathered outside the Bahraini Embassy in Berlin on Thursday (August 9, 2018) to demand treatment for prominent opposition activist Hassan Mushaima, who is serving a life sentence.
Mushaima, 70, suffers from cancer, blood pressure and diabetes, yet prison authorities deny him treatment on the grounds that he does not wear his prison uniform.
Mashaima's son Ali has been on hunger strike for days outside the Bahraini embassy in London to help rescue his father. Ali said the authorities wants to get rid of him by denying him the right to treatment.
