Bahrain Mirror: Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the President of the World Jewish Congress Ronald S. Lauder, who is currently visiting Bahrain.
Salman stressed during the meeting on "cultural openness in Bahrain", saying it is one of the most important features of the Bahraini identity, pointing out to the peaceful coexistence center founded by the King of Bahrain.
The crown prince claimed that his country preserves "religious freedoms and establishment of mutual respect for intellectual, cultural and religious pluralism", despite the harassment practiced by the Bahraini authorities against Shia majority in terms of freedom of belief and persecuting them on basis of religious belief, according to international reports.
