Bahrain Mirror: Thousands of Bahraini citizens took part in peaceful marches launched in the streets of most towns and villages across Bahrain on the eve of the seventh anniversary of the February 14 uprising.
The opposition, which comprises different parties and groups, had called for heavy participation in the activities and events held on the February 14 uprising anniversary, which erupted in 2011 to demand putting an end to the ruling Al Khalifa family's monopoly over power.
Photos ciculated on social media websites showed thousands of Bahraini women and men taking part in night marches in the areas across the island kingdom, including Al-Kharjiya, Bilad Al-Qadeem, Daiyan, Sanabis, South Sahla, Al-Ma'ameer, Abuquwa, Tubli, Daih, Jidhafs, A'ali, Al-Ekr, Karbabad, Al-Markh, Karana, Saar, Buri, Northern Sahla, the capital Manama, Al-Hamla, Al-Maqsha', Al-Qadam, Al-Musla and Iskan."
