Bahrain Mirror: The family of Sayed Alawi Hussain, who was sentenced to death in a military court, said that they had received phone calls from him informing them about his first family visit scheduled for next monday, according to his wife disclosed on her personal Twitter account.
The visit, scheduled for Monday (January 22, 2018), is the first of its kind for Sayed Alawi since his abduction from his workplace on October 24, 2016 and his forced disappearance for almost a year.
Sayed Alawi's family only met him in the military courtroom where he was tried over charges of plotting the assassination of the military Commander-in-Chief Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
In late December, a military court sentenced Sayed Alawi to death as well as five others in the case.
