Over 84,000 Cases Referred to Bahraini Public Prosecution in 2017

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Attorney General Ali Fadl Al-Buainain stated that the total number of cases received in 2017 by the Public Prosecution amounted to 84,442, adding that 83,520 cases of which have been looked into.
However, the statistics showed that the number of cases that were completely addressed and concluded by the prosecution amounted to 2,183 cases.
Al-Buainain further stated that "the capital's office received 28,090 cases, and the number of cases referred to the traffic prosecution office reached 100,183, while 5,126 cases were referred to the terrorist crimes prosecution and 4,653 to the family and child prosecution office."
