Bahrain Mirror: The Sixth High Criminal Appeals Court rejected the appeals of a student in Al-Jabriya Industrial School sentenced to 3 years in prison, because he appealed the verdict after the legal period ended and rejected the appeals of another appellant because he didn't attend the session.

The two students were among 5 who were sentenced by the first-instance court to 3 years in prison, over assembling, attacking policemen and security man in school and damaging the school's gate as well as two cars.

The Public Prosecution accused all the suspects of attacking, along with other unknowns, on April 23, 2013, security men and causing them the injuring mentioned in the medical reports, noting that the injuries didn't hinder them from performing his personal job for more than 20 days. It also accused them of taking part in assembly of more than 5 persons, aiming at disrupting public peace and endangering people's lives and public and private money. The prosecution accused the defendants of attacking the bodily integrity of the school's security man, noting that the injuries didn't hinder him from performing his personal job for more than 20 days, deliberately damaging, along with other unknowns, the main gate of Al-Jabriya Industrial School as well as parts of two vehicles owned by the interior ministry.

The prosecution accused the first suspect of using force and violence with a corporal, aiming at hindering him from performing his duty in arresting him. It also raised the same charge against the fourth suspect.
