Bahrain Mirror: Lawyer Fatima Al-Hawaj said on her Twitter account on Sunday (January 7, 2018) that she filed a criminal complaint against former MP Mohammad Khalid at the Public Prosecutor.
She said that she filed the complaint against Khalid over charges of showing contempt against Shiite sect, insulting a person who is glorified in another sect and inciting hatred against a sect.
Al-Hawaj hoped that the case won't be reserved. Lawyer Huda Al-Shaer had already filed a similar a complaint last week. These complaints came after Mohammad Khalid retweeted a tweet considered insulting to Imam Mahdi, before he deleted it under pressure from citizens.
