Bahrain Mirror: A member of Bahrain's ruling family denied the authenticity of a report aired by an Arab channel about his contribution to the production of works of art for Israelis and the printing of a manual to promote such works.
Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa said in a press statement that "the real artist steers clear of entering into such conflicts, as they have no presence in the world of art," expressing his displeasure at how some media outlets who claim professionalism do not understand this, "especially those channels that distort news for the purpose of insulting and defaming countries and even individuals. "
"Bahrain is proud of all of its male and female artists. The message of art cannot be limited by any political conflicts, and is indeed above any attempts to abuse it for wrong purposes," he added.
