Bahrain Prevents American Journalist from Entering Country

Bahrain Mirror: Ministry of Information Affairs announced on Friday (December 8, 2017) that it prevented an American journalist from entering the country.
The ministry said that the journalist works for the Qatari Al-Jazeera channel and attempted to enter the country illegally.
The ministry indicated that the journalist attempted to enter Bahrain under the pretext of covering Manama Dialogue without receiving an official invitation.
It also accused "the Qatari channel of seeking to incite public opinion and disseminate inaccurate information".
Bahrain prevents foreign journalists from entering Bahrain and bans correspondents of foreign media outlets from practicing their profession.
