Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Security Authorities imposed on its citizens to travel to Qatar using only their passports.
The Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs directorate in Bahrain said that "Bahraini citizens in Qatar should use their "passports" to travel between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Qatar."
"No other document will be allowed to be used in any of the Kingdom of Bahrain's borders, for entry or departure from Qatar," it further added.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) citizens travel within their countries using their identity card only, without any need for a passport during travel within the countries that include Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and the UAE.
Bahraini authorities had previously imposed a "Visa" for Qatar citizens who intend to visit Manama.
