Bahrain Mirror: The families of martyrs in Bahrain expressed their solidarity with the Secretary General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, Sheikh Ali Salman, demanding the authorities to release him immediately.
The martyrs' families and number of human rights activists visited the home of Al-Wefaq Secretary-General to reiterate their support for him and his family.
For her part, the Secretary-General's daughter addressed a letter to her father, telling him she is sorry for not seeing him since eight months, as imprisoned opposition figures have refrained from family visits since the authorities imposed new degrading procedures aimed at insulting them during visits.
His daughter Nabaa said that she is happy because her father is happy to have taken this path, despite his pains, for the sake of defending the oppressed and disadvantaged.
"I wish you could be with us so that I would tell you what any daughter would tell her her father on this occasion," she added, celebrating her father's birthday.
