Bahrainis Pray at Site of Al-Alawiyat Mosque, Demolished by Authorities in 2011

Bahrain Mirror: A number of Bahrainis performed evening prayers on Saturday (October 21, 2017) at the site of Al-Alawiyat Mosque, which was demolished by the authorities in 2011.
Bahraini authorities demolished 38 mosques, belonging to the Shiite majority in the country during March 2011, as Saudi and UAE troops entered the island kingdom to crush pro-democracy protests.
Bahrain's move received widespread condemnation from Bahrain's allies, notably the United States.
