Sheikh Isa Al-Qaffas Returned to his Prison Cell Two Weeks after Being Held in Solitary Confinement

Bahrain Mirror: The security authorities in Dry Dock Prison returned on Wednesday (October 18, 2017) detained Shiite cleric Sheikh Isa Al-Qaffas to his prison cell two weeks after no news were reported about him and being held in solitary confinement.
Al-Qaffas was arrested last year with a group of activists within what is known as "Al-Basta Group".
While in Dry Dock Prison, Al-Qaffas was subjected to harassment for practicing religious rituals. He was held more than once in solitary confinement and underwent a surgery during his detention because of his deteriorating health condition.
