Bahrain Mirror: Security forces affiliated to the Ministry of Interior continued their campaign against Ashura manifestations.
Activists said that the security forces attacked Ashura banners and slogans on Wednesday (September 27, 2017) and removed a number of them from villages of Al-Musalla, A'ali and Karzakan and others.
Activists published photos for the security forces while taking down some of the Ashura slogans and banners.
When citizens protested against taking down Ashura manifestations, the security forces fired tear gas against them.
Each year, the authorities attack the manifestations of Ashura, a religious occasion commemorated annually by Shia majority in the country.
