Prosecution Refers 25 Citizens to Trial over Charge of Joining Saraya Al-Ashtar and Blasting Police Bus

Bahrain Mirror: The Public Prosecution referred on Thursday (September 7, 2017) 25 suspects, including 14 arrested over the charge of joining Saraya Al-Ashtar and causing an explosion in a bus affiliated to the security forces.
Chief Prosecutor at the Anti-terror Crime Prosecution, Isa Al-Rowaie, said that the prosecution concluded its investigations in the case of the terrorist bombing that targeted a security bus on the King Hamad Street on February 26, 2017 and resulted in injuries to a number of security men. He stated that 25 suspects were referred to trial, including 14 arrested, adding that the High Criminal Court will look into the case on October 19, 2017.
The prosecution charged the suspects with establishing and joining a terrorist group, causing explosion, attempted murdering, training on the use of weapons and explosives, acquiring, manufacturing and using explosives and arms without a license, funding a terrorist group and destroying public funds owned by the government.
