Bahrain Airport Contacts Iraqi Airways to Help Travelers with Delayed Flights

Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Airport Company said that it contacted Iraqi Airways to assist passengers whose flights were delayed, stressing on the need to fulfill their obligations to travelers by providing them with temporary accommodation in hotels near the airport or scheduling alternate flights, in line with the role assigned to the management of Bahrain International Airport in maintaining the safety and comfort of travelers.
The company added that a large number of passengers heading to Najaf via Iraqi Airways were forced to stay for long periods in the departure area at Bahrain International Airport, highlighting that it was due to the rescheduling of Iraqi Airways flights from the country of origin. Within the framework of international standards at Bahrain International Airport, the airport is responsible for passengers immediately upon the registration of their passports, which is carried out only two hours before the departure of their flights.
