27M BD in Financial Transactions for Gov’t Electronic Portal since Early 2017

Bahrain Mirror: Official statistics revealed that the total amount of money paid in financial transactions for the government's national electronic portal since the beginning of 2017, is around BD 27 million.

The numbers showed that the total transactions in this period reached 64 thousand and 809.

According to the numbers updates at the beginning of July, the total activated electronic services through the national portals during the past 3 months were 295.

Moreover, statistics showed that the total number of finalized financial transactions since the launch of this service are 2 million and 475 thousand and 35. On the other hand, the total financial transactions funds reached 180 million, 877 thousand and 260 BD. It is worth mentioning that the national portal website was launched on May 23, 2007.

According to the electronic government, the services most used are the Public Traffic Directorate services, paying for traffic violations and driving school services, in addition to the electricity and water services that include paying the bills. Citizens also use the electronic portal to seek identity card services, legal courts and cases services, and services for civil workers.
